Melotte is one of the partners that the Agoria Solar Team called upon for the creation of a new solar car for the Solar Challenge Morocco 2021 that took place from October 25 to 29, 2021. More specifically, we were responsible for the part to which the shock absorbers are attached. This involved a heavily loaded part that must also be as light as possible. It meant we had to use our technical knowledge in 5-axis mills to deliver complex parts with extreme precision.

Impressively, the Belgian Agoria Solar Team finished in second place after a 2,500-kilometer race through the Sahara and at the foot of the Atlas Mountains.
