Innoptus Solar Team finishes third at Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in Australia

Melotte is proudly celebrating the remarkable achievement of the Belgian Innoptus Solar Team. They recently secured third place at the prestigious Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in Australia.

As a committed partner in innovation, Melotte contributed high-precision printed and milled components to the team’s cutting-edge solar car, which is named The Infinite Apollo. This vehicle stands as a true testament to engineering excellence and sustainable technology. 

Be sure to take a look at the picture showcasing the parts we produced, which were seamlessly integrated into one of the world’s most advanced solar vehicles. This is a powerful reminder of how the combination of collaboration and technological expertise can drive real progress.

Melotte’s annual summer vacation period is almost upon us.

To this end, we can confirm that our offices will be closed from July 14 until July 25, 2025. Furthermore, in the weeks commencing July 7 and July 28, collections and deliveries will only be possible between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm.

About the Innoptus Solar Team 

The Innoptus Solar Team is made up of highly driven and talented Belgian engineering students who are dedicated to designing and building the world’s most advanced and efficient solar-powered vehicle. As the reigning world champions, the team has already claimed impressive world championship victories in Chile, Australia, and Belgium.

The Innoptus Solar Team’s latest creation is known as the Infinite Apollo, and it was recently unveiled at the Antwerp Trade Fair. This groundbreaking solar car will be their contender in the upcoming Bridgestone World Solar Challenge, which will take place in August over a grueling 3,021-kilometer course across the Australian outback. This represents an important opportunity for the team to once again demonstrate their engineering excellence and technological skills on the world stage.

Melotte is honored to be contributing to this remarkable project by supplying both printed and milled components for the Infinite Apollo. Our logo will also be proudly displayed on the vehicle to symbolize our continued commitment and support.
