Melotte specializes in the manufacturing of parts with high precision, complex shapes, and special materials, and this is done in small quantities.
To realize this, we have an extensive machining department with various EDM machines. And in order to further strengthen our machine park, we recently invested in a new die sinking EDM machine: the “AgieCharmilles FORM X 600.” This machine belongs to the latest generation of die sinking EDMs. Its symmetrical structure, temperature stabilization, and positioning accuracy in the micron range make it possible to manufacture very precise parts.
The new die sinking EDM machine also features a new ISPG generator that ensures very good surface quality and low electrode wear.

Melotte is specialized in the manufacture of high-precision parts. For this purpose, we have an extensive grinding department with various surface grinders, cylindrical grinders and coordinate grinders. To strengthen our grinding department, we have recently invested in an ELB surface grinder of the Smartline BL HYD XC-PRO type.
This machine has a working range of 1500 mm x 750 mm x 700 mm and is thus rather intended for surface grinding of large parts. The machine base is made of microgranite which guarantees ideal damping properties and good thermal stability.
At the end of June, our ISO 9001:2015 recertification took place. Our quality management system has been independently audited by Bureau Veritas and meets all the standard requirements of ISO 9001-2015.
We are thrilled with this extension of our ISO 9001:2015 certification because it gives us an external validation of our strong commitment to quality, our customers and partners and is a guide to consistently meet our customers’ requirements through continuous quality improvement.
